The 280 AI was developed by Parker Otto (P.O.) Ackley. P.O. was a lot like Roy Weatherby a wildcatter who was in search of better solutions. His 280 AI set out to improve the .280 Rem by steeping the shoulder to 40 degrees to increase powder capacity. Weatherby is known for ballistics and velocity our 280 AI offerings will push the industry standards on both.
